About Derby

My name is Derby. I have been playing the piano for four years with an outstanding teacher.

I received good grades on Certificate of Merit and I play in my school chamber group. I hope to participate in piano music festivals.

My top goal is to get straight A's on my next report card.

I also like to swim and play sports of all kind, even though I'm not so good at all of them.

My favorite TV shows are Winx Club, Teen Titans, and American Dragon Jake Long.

 

Hobbies

Computer games, listening to music, and talk to my friends on instant messenger.

What are your most creative and successful practice strategies?

My most successful and creative practice strategy is focusing and concentrating.

When you are focused and concentrating, you remember
everything such as, tempo, phrasing, and dynamics.

I also do section and metronome work which helps my pieces become very fluent.

My favorite piece is March by Carl P.E. Bach. My favorite composer is J.S. Bach.

My favorite foods are spaghetti, pizza, and candy. My favorite drink is apple cider.
